South Kingsway-Queensway Interchange update - Report goes to Community Council July 7

It's been a while since TCAT News last reported on the debate around a redesign for the South Kingsway-Queensway Interchange in Ward 13. The Toronto Urban Renewal Network (TURN)
has been busy organizing residents interested in designing and building
an interchange that improves safety and accessibility for pedestrians,
cyclists and transit users.

City staff have been working to develop a proposal for a redesign, and this report will go to Etobicoke-York Community Council (EYCC) on July 7th.

TURN is asking for help through letters and deputations at the July
7th EYCC meeting -- especially from folks living in the west end. The
group will also be hosting a meeting this week to discuss how to mobilize support. Contact turn_toronto@hotmail.com for more information.
