Create a Toronto Police Services task force to reduce the problem of bike theft

Bike theft continues to be a problem in Toronto. There needs to be a systematic approach taken by the Toronto Police Services to solve the problem. Council should have the Toronto Police Services set up a Bike Theft Task Force. This approach should include taking reports of theft from residents seriously and following up on them; patrolling problem areas; disrupt fencing networks for stolen bikes; and trying innovative techniques to combat bike theft.
